@ fellow trans guys / transmasc people: you know we can complain about lack of representation and make positivity stuff without throwing trans women under the bus right?

Like I see a lot of posts being like “i see lots of representation of trans women but trans men get left out” and like… you can just say “we need more representation for trans men” thats an okay post by itself

Like trans women are hypervisible in many ways and a lot of their representation isn’t even quality representation as much as trauma porn for cis people or the likes of jared leto winning and oscar for co-opting their stories

& yes you can say thats not what your posts mean all you want but with all the transmisogyny whether subconsciously or not you’re blaming trans women for being hypervisible and having strong communities they built as a form of resistance to violence & if you weren’t you wouldn’t really feel the need to make the comparison
